In sports massage, it is important to use the right pressure, force, speed and thus perform the given strokes, but most important is their depth.
When performing a sports massage, the type of sport, the extent and intensity of the athlete's load or the disposition of the individual are taken into account. Sports massage is an essential part of the training process and preparation for competitions and is performed in accordance with the upcoming load. The desired changes are induced in the muscles and the athlete's performance is restored. In sports activities, fatigue after exercise is a common side effect. If the massage relieves fatigue, the athlete may more quickly undergo additional load, which causes an increase in performance.
